Course Description

This is a multi-faceted course that covers several aspects of engineering practice in addition to theoretical and laboratory work, such as leadership, teamwork, engineering design methodologies, and engineering ethics. These skills are learnt through a course project involving a maze mapping robot.

Course Structure

The course consists of:

  1. Three weekly lectures
  2. One weekly meeting by each student team
  3. Four labs per semester
  4. One relatively open-ended lab design project involving a maze mapping robot
  5. No exams.
